Our Background

20+ years of hosting infrastructure, built hands-on

Hosting Since the Early 2000s

Our team started building and running hosting infrastructure in the early 2000s, including datacenter operations in Frankfurt — the same city where TPC Hosting's primary EU hub runs today. From DNS, domains, and cPanel/WHM to KVM, LiteSpeed, and automated provisioning across AWS, DigitalOcean, and Cloudflare.

Enterprise & Security Certified

GDPR Data Protection Officer (DPO) certified, AWS Technical Professional, ITIL V3.0, and PRINCE2 certified. Hands-on experience with WAF, IPS/IDS, Imunify360, enterprise firewalls, and security audits across regulated industries including finance, public sector, and critical infrastructure.

135+ Articles, Tested on Real Infrastructure

Every article is written from direct experience — not documentation. Our team has managed hosting environments for thousands of customers, migrated datacenters, built CI/CD pipelines for hosting platforms, and diagnosed live production issues across shared, VPS, and cloud environments.
Our Infrastructure

Datacenter expertise that informs everything we write

Our team has designed, deployed, and managed infrastructure in enterprise data centers across Europe — from rack architecture and network cabling to storage systems and redundancy planning. When we write about server performance, uptime SLAs, or datacenter locations, it is because we have operated these environments firsthand, not because we read about them.

What We Cover

Hosting topics we know from the inside out

Web Hosting & Performance

Shared hosting, LiteSpeed, caching, TTFB, uptime SLAs, CDN, and what actually separates a good hosting plan from a bad one — from both the operator and customer side.

VPS, Cloud & Infrastructure

KVM, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible — from single VPS configuration to multi-datacenter automation and cloud migrations on AWS and Azure. Written by people who have done it at scale.

WordPress & CMS

Setup, performance optimisation, security hardening, staging workflows, plugin management, and managed vs self-hosted tradeoffs — on the same LiteSpeed infrastructure our customers use.

Security, SSL & GDPR

SSL certificate types, WAF, Imunify360, OWASP, DDoS protection, GDPR compliance for EU hosting, domain strategy, IPv4/IPv6 management, and automated DNS provisioning.
Real-World Testing

Every article is verified on live infrastructure before it is published

Our team works daily with the same dashboards, deployment pipelines, and control panels our customers use. Monitoring graphs, Ansible playbooks, cPanel and WHM configurations — we do not write from documentation. We write from what appears on our own screens. That means when we explain how to configure a VPS or optimise WordPress performance, the steps are accurate because we have just run them.

Our Technology

The hosting stack we work with every day

Web Servers & Control Panels

LiteSpeed Web Server, Apache, Nginx, cPanel, WHM, CloudLinux, PHP-FPM. We manage these environments daily across shared hosting, reseller, and managed WordPress platforms.

Virtualisation & Containers

KVM hypervisor, VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift. From single VPS provisioning to multi-node container orchestration across production environments.

Automation & DevOps

Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines. We have built fully automated provisioning systems for hosting platforms serving thousands of customers simultaneously.

Security & Monitoring

Imunify360, enterprise firewalls, WAF, Wazuh, Zabbix, Grafana, Kibana, Elastic Stack. Security hardening from server level to application layer — OWASP, IPS, IDS, and DDoS mitigation.

Cloud Platforms

AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch), Microsoft Azure (AD, DevOps, Monitor), DigitalOcean, Cloudflare. Multi-cloud architecture, cost optimisation, and identity management across global deployments.

Databases & DNS

MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB. PowerDNS, BIND, DNS-SEC, automated IPv4/IPv6 management and domain provisioning at scale.
Security & Networking

Security starts at the cable level

From patch panel management and IPv6 routing to WAF configuration and intrusion detection — our team has built and audited network security for environments ranging from small hosting setups to large enterprise infrastructure. That hands-on depth shapes how we write about SSL certificates, DDoS protection, firewall rules, and hosting security for our customers. We cover it because we configure it.

How We Work

Our editorial process

Written from direct experience

We only write about topics we have managed in real environments. If an article covers VPS configuration, NVMe performance, or LiteSpeed caching — it is because our team has configured, benchmarked, or troubleshot it on live servers.

Tested before published

Where possible, claims are verified on real infrastructure before publication. We run the same cPanel, LiteSpeed, and KVM stack our customers use, which means we can reproduce issues, test fixes, and confirm results directly.

Updated when things change

Hosting technology evolves. We update articles when control panel versions change, when security vulnerabilities are patched, or when better practices emerge — rather than leaving outdated guides online.

Written for customers, not algorithms

Our goal is to answer the actual question a hosting customer has. Articles are structured to be scannable and usable by someone setting up their first site or migrating an established one — in plain language, without unnecessary jargon.
