You can modify or remove any DNS record you have created in the TPC Hosting DNS Manager at any time.

Edit a DNS record

  1. Open the DNS Manager and click on the zone (domain) containing the record.
  2. Find the record you want to change in the list.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the record.
  4. Update the fields — name, TTL, address, or other values depending on the record type.
  5. Click Save.

Delete a DNS record

  1. Open the zone in the DNS Manager.
  2. Find the record you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete (trash) icon next to the record.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

How long do changes take?

Changes are applied to TPC Hosting nameservers within a few minutes. However, DNS is cached globally — other DNS resolvers around the world may serve the old value until the TTL expires. If you need faster propagation, lower the TTL of the record to 300 (5 minutes) before making the change, wait for the old TTL to expire, then make your change.

Cannot find or edit a record?

Some records (like the SOA and default NS records) are managed automatically by the system and cannot be edited directly. If you need to change nameserver or SOA settings, contact TPC Hosting support.
