If you manage multiple domains, the DNS Manager's bulk action feature lets you make changes across many zones at once instead of editing each one individually.

How to select zones for bulk action

  1. Open the DNS Manager. You will see a list of all your zones.
  2. Check the checkbox next to each zone you want to include, or check the box at the top to select all zones.
  3. Click the Choose Action button to see the available bulk operations.

Available bulk actions

Add a record to multiple zones

  1. Select your zones and choose Add Record.
  2. Fill in the record type, name, TTL, and value.
  3. Click Apply. The record will be added to all selected zones.

Example use case: adding the same SPF TXT record to all your domains at once.

Delete a record from multiple zones

  1. Select your zones and choose Delete Record.
  2. Specify which record to delete (by type and name).
  3. Click Apply.

Modify records using patterns

  1. Select zones and choose Modify Record.
  2. Use a search pattern to find specific record values and a replacement value. This works similarly to a find-and-replace operation.
  3. Click Apply.

Example use case: updating an old server IP address to a new one across all zones.

Apply a record set to multiple zones

Record sets are reusable groups of DNS records. You can create a record set once and apply it to many zones in one step. Select your zones, choose Apply Record Set, and select the set to apply.
