Samsung devices include a built-in Email app separate from Gmail. Follow these steps to add your TPC Hosting email account to the Samsung Email app.

What you will need

  • Your full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.com)
  • Your email password
  • Your mail server hostname — find this in cPanel under Email Accounts → Connect Devices. It is typically mail.yourdomain.com.

Add the account

  1. Open the Samsung Email app.
  2. Tap the three-line menu icon (hamburger menu) in the top-left corner.
  3. Tap the Settings gear icon.
  4. Tap Add account.
  5. Tap Other.
  6. Enter your full email address and tap Manual setup.
  7. Select IMAP account.

Enter the incoming server settings

  • Email address / Username: your full email address
  • Password: your email password
  • IMAP server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Security type: SSL/TLS
  • Port: 993

Tap Next.

Enter the outgoing server settings

  • SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Security type: SSL/TLS
  • Port: 465
  • Authentication required: enabled
  • Username: your full email address
  • Password: your email password

Tap Next.

Finish setup

  1. Choose your preferred sync frequency and notification preferences.
  2. Give the account a name to identify it in the app sidebar.
  3. Tap Done. Your inbox will begin syncing.

Troubleshooting

  • If port 465 is rejected, try SMTP port 587 with STARTTLS security.
  • Confirm the exact server hostname in cPanel: Email Accounts → Connect Devices.
